Women Prefer Romance to Sex or Extravagance

When it comes to relationships, most women like to receive the odd expensive gift now and then. And few of us are averse to the occasional night of hot, steamy passion.

But when you cut to the chase, most girls would prefer a romantic weekend away as a birthday gift rather than anything else a man has to offer.

Maybe I’m just a bit too old fashioned - but romantic breaks are so rare these days between couples who are overly consumed in their busy lives, that grabbing any opportunity to share a romantic getaway is a sure win and will no doubt help the relationship!

The getaway doesn’t have to really be ‘away’ as far as I’m concerned, it can just be ‘away’ from the normal everyday hassles - turn the phone off, send the kids to grandmas, order take-out and hide away from the world.

Now that the survey has uncovered what women want most, I have to wonder about the men!

Would men prefer -

1.  An expensive gift

2.  A night of passion

or

3.  A romantic weekend getaway
