When Opposites Attract Can They Stick Together?
We’ve all heard that opposites attract, but just how different are they and do they really have something beyond that “attraction” that can add substance and foundation to a secure relationship?
By this I mean –
Can a vegetarian create a lasting relationship with a meat eater?
Can a Muslim create a lasting relationship with a Christian?
Can a health nut create a lasting relationship with McDonald’s most valued customer?
Can an Opera singer create a lasting relationship with “Joe Dirt”?
Just how different can two people be and make a relationship last?

I’m just starting off on a relationship with someone of a totally different religion. It’s something I never expected to delve into but we got along like a house on fire, so much so that I keep forgetting how different we are except when I look at the photos of us next to each other.
Can opposites stick together? I have yet to find out.

I’m the artsy type, a writer at heart, and my guy is a computer/tech geek. He can’t spell to save his life, and I’m his built-in spellchecker. We’ve been together for 5 years, and we’re going strong!
I think it can work, but it really depends on the actual differences. Ours are really quite small compared to some of those you listed.
