The Friend Zone
Ever found yourself caught in the “friend zone”?
For people who aren’t in the know, I’m going to do my best to define it.
It’s when you find yourself in a situation with a girl or a guy whom you have a romantic interest in but are treated in a way that you’re just a “buddy” or someone she or he can hang out with and not date.
Did I make sense?
Well, watch the movie, Just Friends, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart and Chris Klein. I think you’ll get a better picture. And you’ll actually hear them refer to the “friend zone” and how one, once caught, will have a hard time getting out of.
One tip handed out in the movie was not to get caught in the let’s-catch-up-over-lunch date. To be quite honest, I don’t know why it’s a big deal — going out on a lunch date, I mean — because going out IS going out, right? Or am I missing something? Hahaha.
