Tall is More Attractive
It’s a theory I came across a while back. I had this experience when someone told me that she’ll get more positive reaction from men or guys will pay more attention if you’re tall. That’s a bit of a challenge if you’re petite or shorter than average, now, isn’t it? Well, that’s where heels, stilettos or platforms come in.
That was the case then when that girl informed me of this theory. She’s prefer it if I wore flats so she can look taller when she wears a pair of shoes with heels.
I was a bit young and naive at that time and had no idea if there’s any truth to her statement. But I had to agree because she certainly did look attractive wearing a dress and a pair of platforms. But what do you guys think? Is this theory even true? Do guys find taller women more attractive? Is being (or looking) taller a good bet to getting the right amount of attention? I’ve had this notion that men love petite women simply because they look more dainty and feminine, ergo, making them feel more macho and very much “the man”.

Hey Sasha,
Confidence is attractive and women who wear platform shoes and “tr yo look tall” may only be attracting men because they are projecting more confidence than they usually do. But having said that, I’m short, and I know that women are generally attracted to men who are taller than them - and also I see no appeal in being shot down when I know it’s likely to happen - so I personally never (and I mean *NEVER*) approach women who are taller than me, simply because I know the odds are they won’t be interested.

I have to say something. I am tall, and relish in it. HOWEVER…I went to a party a while ago. Being 5′8” and in 4 inch heels I am usually, and was in this instance taller than, or at least eye level with most of the guys at the party.
One guy in particular, let’s call him “M”, had sort of a thing for me. He proceeded to inform me that evening that multiple guys had come up to him and let him know that although I was “hot” they couldn’t imagine even hitting on me since I was so tall. Granted they were just being silly, since I was wearing 4 inch heels, and in actuality am not taller than them.
I think being tall is a power position and it intimidates guys. No offense to the guys out there though, if you don’t have the balls to approach me just because I am wearing heels then you really aren’t worth my time.
