How NOT To Need A Man In A Woman’s Life
Most will admit, myself included, that we date in order to find a mate. However, it’s also true that there are situations or circumstances wherein the wisdom behind the reason in choosing has faded into the background and has been replaced by superficial things.
Then, of course, we just as well may find ourselves alone — without a man in sight. Do we know what to do? Or are we to live the rest of our lives thinking ourselves incomplete?
Here are some handy advice straight from a single mom and pro-blogger, Gloria Gamat. She highlights certain things we, women, should consider if or when we find ourselves without a partner.
“In my honest opinion, it would be hypocrisy playing damsel in distress when I can perfectly find my own way anywhere I go much like I can fix a broken electrical connection and most electrical home appliances for that matter. I have gained the habit of fixing what’s broken instead of waiting for a man to have time to fix it.” — Gloria Gamat
This is not to say that an extreme decision has been made. It’s just to give us, women, an alternative and make us see that life will never be as terrible as we thought it might be — without a man.
My own personal opinion — it’s ridiculous if you decide to marry the first guy who proposes just because your best mate got married last month. And it will get better when we start embracing reality and cease believing in faerie tales.
It’s not the end of the world.

True. What I found awesome about my current GF is that she is independent.

She’s lucky to have you, Ade. It’s so sweet of you to describe your girl as “awesome” :)
Guys really do dig independence in women, don’t they? You sure it doesn’t intimidate you even just a bit? Teehee. :)
