Having had a mother who met my stepfather of 7 years on a website for the more “mature” audience, I am a fan of websites that cater to the new blondes. Seniors and boomers don’t have to retire to Florida and play BINGO and Shuffleboard everyday anymore!

I know Sasha just wrote about stereotyping, but aren’t Blondes generally considered bimbos? :-o

:P
stereotypically they are “bimbos” but they also stereotypically have more fun.
Being a blonde myself, I’m going to say - bimbo no, fun yes :)

Hee hee, sorry Gayla! I’m kinda tactless, and I should’ve checked out your profile pic before putting the foot in my mouth. *blush*
Anyways, I agree. Blondes seem to have the most fun, since guys stereotypically flock to them. And Reese Witherspoon has a great time in Legally Blonde. :)

hehe no problem. I’ve gotten used to all those blonde jokes over the years.
Any blonde that doesn’t like it? Well, I have one word - Clairol :D

Oh God, I’m sure you’ve heard a lot of ‘em. :)
Well, I’d only “condone” dying if the new color matches your look/personality. Right Sash?

Hahaha. I was hoping for a different answer. I so wanted to have “more fun” like Gayla. Heehee. :)

Ahhh it’s not all its cracked up to be. In fact — I think for the most part blondes have that “fun image” to own up to so they have to force it at times when they’d just rather be boring.
I’d really like to be able to sport a darker color and it look proper. But with this light skin tone that’s not likely to happen :(
Sasha You are SO lucky! You’ve got beautiful skin! I’m so Jealous!

Well, we all have to stereotypes to live up to. Here in my country (I’m a Filipino like Sasha), I’m considered very tall (even though I’m “only” 6′). So I *should* play basketball. meh. :)
Did you know a lot of Filipinos want to have white skin? It’s hilarious, you guys like our darker skin, while a LOT of us idolize whiteness… weird!

LOL! :) Gayla, you should’ve met me when I was younger — like what Rico said, part of the Filipino mentality is classifying you as one of the “beautiful people” if you have a lighter skin tone — I tried so many beauty products, short of bleaching my skin, just so I can be beautiful! Hahaha.
Of course, nothing worked. Heh. Until one day I gave up on the idea and simply told myself “Sod it. Who cares if I’m not pretty?” Hahaha. Now, I’m never afraid to bask under the sun! Good thing, too, cuz I so love the beach! Hahaha. :)

I think that as the last racists and bigots die, and all races inter-marry, ebony and ivory will mix into the perfect tan! :D So Brown will be the new Grey or something like that. :)
