Arguing About Silly Things
Rule that couples should apply in every argument is to make sure both of you set a goal for you guys to reach. Both of you need to know what your argument is for. Otherwise, it’s pointless. Petty.
At face value, these things you guys are fighting about would seem silly but, sometimes, they aren’t at all.
I reckon it’s best if you guys go beyond the superficial and deal with the underlying problem. It may be bruised egos, emotional scarring or repressed anger due to past unresolved issues.
Always keep the lines open. Keep the communication going. Silly or not, arguing can mean that both are still wanting to get through the other person. There’s still hope in working things out. Arguing a lot can be draining, emotionally and physically, but if you take the time to really listen and understand each other, these arguments will not be as silly as you may have thought.
Just remember know when to back down and compromise.
