Couple, 33 and 104, Reportedly Marry
A 33-year-old man in northern Malaysia has married a 104-year-old woman, saying mutual respect and friendship had turned to love, a news report said Tuesday.
There have been a few times that I found myself attracted to someone that was several years older - but when my parents divorced when I was 18, we all agreed on dating habits. I agreed not to become involved with someone close to older then my parents while they agreed not to become involved with someone near my age.
Perhaps we agreed on something that prevented us from finding happiness much earlier, who knows?
I will admit when I read the headline earlier today, I naturally assumed it would be a much younger woman with an older man. Isn’t it funny how high profile marriages like that of Anna Nicole Smith have programmed our minds to assume it’s always the older man/younger woman pairing?
How do you view relationships where there’s a vast age difference? By vast, I’m thinking 20+ years? Do you think they could possibly find enough in common to make the relationship last?

You may want to look at it from another angle. Compatablity isn’t only about physical match ups and likes and dislikes. Often overlooked it the temperament aspect. Going far beyond (or perhaps beneath) personality and outward behavior, cetain temperament types have very complimentary aspects for other temperament types.
