A Girl’s Story

by Sasha Manuel on May 6th, 2006

girlstoryIt’s fictional but I believe that it can be as real as the sky is blue. It’s not your typical read — it’s done through comic strips. It’s worth checking out.

It’s a guy behind it. His name’s Jonas Diego, a comic book creator. He stopped by my personal blog a couple of days ago and I was reminded of this comic strip, which I found almost a year ago.

I’d like to share a blurb but I’d rather you go straight and read it. I don’t want to spoil it for you. Let me just say that it’s a glimpse of what goes on in my own country’s society in the area of dating and relationships. I’m not saying it happens all the time but it does happen.

It’s Jonas’ way of reaching out to people and creating awareness of such an act. I applaud him for it. That’s why I’m thinking that here’s my own effort to contribute in this small project.

So, go read A Girl’s Story. Jonas will love to hear your thoughts and so would I and the rest of the readers of Dating Dames. :)

Wow, thanks for featuring the story again.

Here’s a little trivia about it: it’s not fictional. I presented it creatively but the story actually happened to a friend of mine.

Thanks very much. You’re the best! :)

OMG. So, the guy’s real? Creepy. I’m sorry about your friend. I hope she’s alright now.

    No worries. :)
