5 Things I Like About Dating

There are moments when you’re in the thick of things that you’d realise that you need to take a step back and evaluate your views on the whole dating scene.

Yes. It’s one of those days when I need to take a break and look at the positive side of it all. Heeheehee.

• 1. Meeting new people.

  I love meeting new people. They provide new perspectives on the human race. Every human being is unique and is worth spending time to get to know, that much I’ve discovered.

• 2. Getting dolled up for a guy.

  I like dressing up on any occasion. I like to look good every once in a while. And the idea that I’ll be doing it to impress a guy is a cool thing in my book. It’s always nice to get a guy — in this case, my date — to sit up and take notice.

• 3. Seeing new places.

  Me and my wanderlusts. I love gallyvanting. I particularly enjoy a date when he brings me to some place that I haven’t been to before. New experiences broadens the imagination.

• 4. Romance.

  I’m a romantic. The prospect of going out with someone I can fall for is a big drawing point in dating.

• 5. The Goodnight Kiss.

  It doesn’t happen on every date. But feeling that tension at the end of one is often attractive. And when it does happen and he turns out to be a good kisser — uh, let’s just say the possibility of a second date can be negotiated. Hahaha.
